COAHUILA – In the Southeast region of Coahuila, the German company Ziemann Holvrieka opened a new plant in Ramos Arizpe, with an investment of US$20 million and the generation of 150 new jobs.
This project represents a key boost for the state’s economy, consolidating its position as a strategic industrial hub in Mexico.
The plant, located in the Amistad Chuy María industrial park, will focus on the production of stainless steel tanks and spare parts for the fermented beverage and liquid food industry.
Ziemann Holvrieka’s arrival in Coahuila reflects the confidence of foreign companies in the region’s infrastructure and productive capacity.
Governor Manolo Jiménez congratulated the directors of Ziemann Holvrieka and assured them of success in their operations, “let’s continue strengthening the economy of Coahuila de Zaragoza together,” he said.
This investment is in addition to others that have strengthened the economic development of Coahuila, allowing the creation of thousands of new jobs and the consolidation of the industrial sector.
During the inauguration ceremony, Klaus Gehring, CEO of Ziemann Holvrieka, highlighted the importance of the geographic location, infrastructure and skilled labor as key factors in the decision to establish the plant in Ramos Arizpe.
