General Rodolfo Rodríguez Quezada leaves the FAMEX

MEXICO CITY – Through a farewell letter, General Rodolfo Rodríguez Quezada, president of the Organizing Committee of the Mexico Aerospace Fair (FAMEX), announced that as of April 16, he leaves this position “with the pride and emotion that gives a fulfilled duty”.
Since he was appointed to the position, General Rodríguez Quezada invited each member of the national aeronautical sector to participate with a vision to promote Mexico, from a “respectful, inclusive call and based on dialogue, transmitting unity ”.
Thus, FAMEX competed "in the face of the great challenge of the international aerospace sector", achieving exchanges of spaces with fairs in Chile, Russia, Germany, China, Indonesia, Brazil and Colombia. In addition, thanks to the tutelage of Gral. Rodríguez, FAMEX is currently an honorary member of the Mexican Federation of the Aerospace Industry (FEMIA), the Mexican Council of Aerospace Education (COMEA) and the Advisory Council of the Aerospace Industry, chaired by the Secretariat of Economy, and was also included, in the "Pro.Aereo 2.0", the guiding document that marks the strategy of this agency in the aeronautical sector.
After expressing his "deep gratitude" for the trust placed in him to carry out the task of organizing the first edition of FAMEX, in May 2014, and, consecutively, "to develop an event worthy of Mexico to promote before the world the potential, talent and organizational capacity of Mexicans, as well as the growth of the national aeronautical industry ", the former president of FAMEX pointed out that he put all his time, his professionalism and his capacity," putting our country in the best aeronautical places and reflectors of the world ”.
In his message, General Rodolfo Rodríguez congratulates and "wishes the greatest success" to General César Tapia Jiménez and all those who collaborated in the realization of the FAMEX editions, ratifies his "admiration and appreciation for their invaluable support, requesting to extend it to the members of its work team, who fully identified with the mission and institutional vision of FAMEX, delivering and contributing efforts, experience and professional dedication, during each edition ”.
General Rodolfo Rodríguez Quezada, who says goodbye "hoping that in the near future our paths will cross again to continue sharing the passion for serving Mexico, through projects and initiatives that benefit the development of the national aerospace industry", achieved that the FAMEX turned in 2015, just one year after being named, into the main National Aerospace Fair and by 2019 in the largest in Latin America and one of the ten best in the world.
