Aguascalientes seeks to consolidate strategic alliances with German companies
AGUASCALIENTES - In order to strengthen commercial ties, promote technology transfer and explore new investment and development opportunities, the governor of Aguascalientes, María Teresa Jiménez Esquivel, held a meeting with representatives of German companies established in the state.
“Thank you for your trust and for the important contributions you make to the economic development of Aguascalientes; rest assured that, from the state government, we work every day to generate the conditions you need to grow and develop,” said the governor.
He also stressed the importance of maintaining a continuous dialogue and strengthening collaboration between state authorities and German companies in order to consolidate strategic alliances that promote industrial growth and generate mutual benefits in terms of employment, competitiveness and regional development.
For his part, Esaú Garza de Vega, head of the Secretariat of Economic Development, Science and Technology, highlighted that during the governor's administration, Aguascalientes has registered US$220.4 million in foreign direct investment (FDI) from Germany with the Secretariat of Economy, accumulating since 2006 a total of US$1.08 billion in German capital in the state.
According to local information, the meeting was attended by executives from Balluff, ContiTech, Continental, Binzel, ZF, Mercedes Benz, Bosch, Mahle, Allgaier and Camexa, in addition to executives from Vesta Park and FINSA, as well as state officials and local deputies.
