More Mexicans to have access to electric cars through Olinia

MEXICO - The Olinia project is gaining momentum in Mexico, with the aim of offering electric cars at affordable prices starting at US$4,444.

Driven by the government of Claudia Sheinbaum and supported by private sector investment, this project promises to democratize access to sustainable mobility.

Olinia's proposal includes not only an attractive price offer, but also the creation of specialized jobs and the promotion of new technologies that will strengthen the country's automotive industry.

Olinia's progress will have profound effects on the Mexican automotive industry, not only in terms of production, but also in technical training and the development of local technology.

The installation of the production plant in Puebla and the collaboration with institutions such as BUAP, IPN and Kutsari will mark a before and after for the sector. As the Olinia project takes shape, it will strengthen the local industry and contribute to the development of advanced technologies that could position Mexico as a leader in electromobility.

This project, in addition to offering more affordable electric cars, is fostering an environment conducive to technological innovation, the creation of highly specialized jobs and the growth of the infrastructure needed to support electric mobility.
