Airbus increases deliveries in March

In March, Airbus delivered a total of 71 commercial aircraft to 37 customers and recorded 211 gross orders. In terms of deliveries, this represents an increase on February (40) and January (25). The A321neo accounted for the majority of deliveries with 34 units, followed by the A320neo with 18 aircraft.

As a result, Airbus delivered a total of 136 commercial aircraft for the first quarter (1Q, First Quarter), which is -4.2% compared to the 142 commercial aircraft delivered in the same period of 2024, but higher than the 127 delivered in 1Q 2023.

In the month of March 2025, the Latin America region received only two units, both A320neo, the first was for LATAM Airlines on March 25, and the second for Mexico's Volaris on March 31. This is in addition to the two aircraft (A321 and A320) delivered to Volaris on February 3.

Regarding orders, the European aircraft manufacturer accumulated 204 net orders for 1Q 2025, 79.9% of which are for the A321neo model with 163 units, followed by the A350-1000 with only 17 orders.

It is worth noting that 75 A320neo orders were cancelled in this period, including 5 aircraft that were not ordered in this period, leaving a total of -5 aircraft ordered for the quarter.
