Guanajuato offers 3,650 hectares available in 47 industrial parks to attract investments

With a total area of more than 7,100 hectares distributed across 47 industrial parks located in 17 municipalities, Guanajuato has established itself as a strategic hub for new domestic and foreign investment. Of this total, around 3,650 hectares remain available for the installation of new production projects.

This development is part of the strategy promoted by Governor Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, whose government promotes economic infrastructure in coordination with the private sector to consolidate the necessary conditions to attract new companies.

The head of the Ministry of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villaseñor Aguilar, emphasized that the state has strategic land both inside and outside the industrial corridor, designed to diversify and balance the state's economy.

The 47 industrial parks are distributed in the municipalities of Abasolo, Apaseo el Grande, Celaya, Comonfort, Guanajuato, Irapuato, León, San Francisco del Rincón, San José Iturbide, San Felipe, San Luis de la Paz, San Miguel de Allende, Salamanca, Silao, Uriangato, Valle de Santiago, and Villagrán.

These industrial developments must comply with federal regulations (NMX-046-SCFI-R-2015) and state and municipal provisions such as the Territorial Code and urban development programs. They are also required to have basic infrastructure such as drinking water, electricity, drainage, wastewater treatment, communication services, paved roads, lighting, signage, and green areas.

These elements are considered essential to ensure the operability, safety, and competitiveness of the companies that establish themselves in these areas.
