Paris Air Show ends with more results for Chihuahua

During the Paris Air Show, the delegation of officials and business leaders, led by the State Government, the Chihuahua Aerospace Cluster, and Index Chihuahua, made significant progress for the state.
More than 50 meetings were held with leaders in the aerospace industry, including companies already established in the state, as part of a strategy to retain and identify opportunities to attract more complex processes with greater technological content.
The delegation established links with new companies with investment potential in Chihuahua, specializing in avionics, composite materials, specialized training centers, and advanced technologies.
The executives of the companies contacted highlighted local talent and the multisectoral collaboration model as decisive elements in promoting economic growth in the area.
Meanwhile, the head of the Secretariat of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE), Ulises Fernández, announced that next year a trade mission will be carried out in Poland, home to the third largest aerospace cluster in Europe.
During this mission, B2B meetings will be held with leading companies in the sector and an investment seminar will be held to strengthen Chihuahua's presence and competitiveness at the international level.
A collaboration between Virtual Educa and the State Government was announced for the Mars Challenge, a hackathon (an event where programmers and designers develop innovative solutions to specific problems) that is being held for the first time in Mexico and will be based in Chihuahua.
This competition will allow young people to develop their skills in this field, facing the main challenges currently facing the aerospace industry.
At the Global Aerospace Cluster Partnership's GACP Summit 2025 event at the Mexican Embassy in Paris, representatives of international clusters recognized Chihuahua's leadership as the most integrated aerospace region in the country, with five OEMs, more than 40 certified companies, and one-third of the national talent in the sector.
The delegation was made up of actors from the economic ecosystem and state promotion, including Chihuahua Global, Intermex, American Industries, the Municipal Government of Chihuahua, and the Autonomous University of Chihuahua.
Also part of the delegation were HT-MX, Metal Finishing Company, Promotora para el Desarrollo Económico de Chihuahua, the Institute for Technological Development Support, Chihuahua City Invest, and Economic Development of the State of Chihuahua.
The strategic collaboration of the quadruple helix reflects the current administration's commitment to coordinating efforts between government, academia, industry, and civil society in order to promote a development model that generates more opportunities, greater investment, and better results.
