Bajío Industrial Park in Michoacán receives investment project from Citelis

The governor of Michoacán, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, shared that the Michoacán-based company Citelis, the real estate arm of Organización Ramírez, is preparing a project worth US$53.1 million in the Bajío Industrial Park.
“Citelis is a Morelia-based company and is linked to the consortium we all know as Cinépolis,” added the governor.
According to the governor, this is one of the first investments within the Development Pole for Well-being (Podebi) Zinapécuaro, which is now ready to welcome national and international companies.
He also emphasized that this initiative puts Michoacán at the forefront, highlighting that it is the first pole within the “Plan Mexico” strategy.
During the event, Ramírez Bedolla pointed out that the Bajío Industrial Park is located in a strategic area, connected to the Western Highway, the Morelia International Airport, and the Port of Lázaro Cárdenas.
“This connectivity will allow customs to flow more smoothly, which will facilitate and benefit investments by public and private companies.”
He also highlighted the importance of the Oceanic Pacific-Kansas City railway lines, which will strengthen the transport of products throughout the region.
He added that the container logistics terminals of Hutchinson Ports and APM Terminals are being expanded, with a joint investment of US$212 million.
Finally, he pointed out that this Podebi project was designed to operate and generate clean energy through the Los Azufres geothermal power plant, as well as the possibility of a natural gas facility.
