JAC Mexico will double its production

JAC Mexico marked nine years of operations in the country with rapid growth, increasing its assembly volume by 30 times and consolidating its industrial presence in Ciudad Sahagún, Hidalgo. The company now produces more than 30,000 units annually, up from around 1,000 units when it began operations in 2017.
The plant, operated by Giant Motors Latin America, has an installed capacity exceeding 60,000 units per year and can assemble one vehicle every four minutes. The facility spans approximately 150,000 square meters and includes assembly areas, warehouses, spare parts storage, and a test track, with eight production lines capable of manufacturing up to 17 different models.
The company’s growth is also reflected in job creation, with more than 1,000 direct employees at the plant and over 4,000 jobs generated nationwide through its distribution network.
In an increasingly competitive market, marked by the arrival of new brands, the company has focused its strategy on three key pillars: customer-centricity, a product lineup aligned with market needs, and the strengthening of its dealer network. This approach aims to ensure a consistent experience in both sales and after-sales service.
With this progress, JAC Mexico reaffirms its long-term commitment to the country, focusing on sustained growth, strengthening its industrial operations, and building closer relationships with consumers in Mexico.
