CLAUT introduces its new president and future plans

During the 19th Assembly of the Nuevo Leon Automotive Cluster Council (CLAUT), Ismael Gomez assumed the presidency, where he outlined his priorities: strengthening the supply chain, integrating small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and adopting new technologies in the industry.
Gomez emphasized that his leadership will promote the development of suppliers through technical training to ensure that SMEs meet industry standards, as well as greater access to financing to facilitate their growth; in addition to promoting the adoption of new technologies and work models.
“Our goal is clear: to protect our jobs and strengthen the development of the industry in Mexico,” he stated.
The Assembly presented the main results for 2025, highlighting the organization of 209 events with active participation from members. Among the most significant achievements, Gomez highlighted the 15th edition of the Automotive Suppliers’ Meeting, which brought together more than 1,500 companies, 3,000 visitors, and 200 buyers, generating an estimated business potential of US$5.1 million.
At the ceremony, the cluster recognized Metalsa, Prolamsa, Sisamex, Evco, and Scanpaint as “CLAUT Associates of Excellence” for their outstanding participation, their contribution to the organization’s dynamism, and their support for its development.
