The Chihuahua Aerospace Cluster celebrated nearly two decades of driving development, establishing itself as one of the country’s leading industrial hubs.


During the event, the evolution of the aerospace ecosystem in Chihuahua was highlighted, the result of a sustained strategy of collaboration between public and private sector stakeholders. This model has positioned the state as a key hub within global value chains, particularly in advanced manufacturing and specialized processes.


Representing Index Chihuahua were General Director Myrna de Las Casas and President Rene Espinosa, who joined in commemorating a sector that has demonstrated steady growth and the ability to adapt to changes in the international environment.


The cluster’s new institutional image was unveiled, and the role of collaboration between industry, academia, and government was also highlighted as a key factor in the development of the aerospace sector.


Index Chihuahua reaffirmed its commitment to fostering strategic alliances that strengthen industrial development, in a context where the relocation of production chains and technological specialization are opening new opportunities for Mexico and its industrial regions.


The strengthening of the Chihuahua Aerospace Cluster reflects a national trend in which the industry is consolidating itself as a strategic sector, with high added value and the potential to continue attracting investment, innovation, and specialized talent in the coming years.
