Isuzu’s training programs improve freight transport

Isuzu Motors de Mexico announced the expansion of its service network through comprehensive training programs aimed at drivers and repair shops, with the goal of improving operational efficiency, safety, and profitability in freight transport.
One of the main pillars is the driver training program, which is held regularly at the brand’s dealerships. These courses are designed to improve driving skills through techniques that directly impact the daily operation of fleets.
Through initiatives such as SmartDrive and Walkaround, participants receive training in efficient and safe driving, as well as in preventive vehicle inspections. Operational benefits include optimized fuel consumption, reduced corrective maintenance costs, extended vehicle lifespan, and improved road safety.
At the same time, the company is promoting specialized training for repair shops, focused on technologies related to Euro VI emissions standards; these training sessions cover the operation of aftertreatment systems such as DPD and SCR, regeneration processes, and the proper handling of supplies like urea (DEF), which are necessary to comply with current environmental regulations.
Through these efforts, Isuzu Motors de Mexico aims to ensure that operators and technicians are prepared to service the new generations of vehicles, while promoting more efficient operations aligned with environmental standards.
