Motive expands its AI-powered security features

The AI platform, Motive, announced advanced security features to mitigate some of the most pressing risks faced by physical operations leaders in Mexico, such as cargo theft, unauthorized vehicle use, and delayed responses to high-risk situations.

In Mexico, security threats are on the rise: cargo thefts occur every 38 minutes, and nearly 54,000 vehicles are stolen annually—crimes that contribute to a total of US$4.8 billion in annual losses across the supply chain.

“Mexican fleets lack the necessary tools to protect their drivers and cargo from robberies, assaults, and other security threats,” said Omar Camacho, general manager of Motive Mexico.

“Motive’s new security features give teams instant visibility and the ability to act immediately in response to various events, such as unauthorized vehicle use, high-risk routes, roadblocks, and other suspicious activities. Now teams can prevent thefts, assess risks in real time, and ensure that drivers are never left stranded in dangerous situations.”

Some of the new features Motive will incorporate include alerts for unknown operators, AI-driven geofence-based alerts, and live two-way calls.
