Mexican investment in Madrid exceeds previous figures

The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Mexico brought together government officials and business representatives at a meeting focused on strengthening economic ties between Mexico and the Community of Madrid, at a time when bilateral investment is showing greater sectoral diversification and sustained growth.
During the event “Community of Madrid: A Quality Investment,” led by Isabel Diaz Ayuso, president of the Community of Madrid, it was highlighted that investment by Mexican companies in Madrid has exceeded US$5.381 billion since 2019.
These investment flows position Mexico as one of the most significant Latin American investors in the Spanish capital, particularly in sectors such as financial services, infrastructure, food, retail, and technology.
In collaboration with Invest in Madrid, it was noted that the Mexico-Spain economic relationship remains on a solid footing. According to recent data from the Ministry of Economy, Spain remains one of the leading foreign investors in Mexico, historically ranking among the top positions, second only to the United States.
