Click Technology invests US$21 million in Torreon

The Governor of Torreon, Manolo Jimenez Salinas, joined executives from Click Technology to announce an investment of nearly US$21 million for the installation and operation of their project in the state, creating 480 new jobs for the Laguna region.


Salinas highlighted the coordinated effort between state and municipal authorities, business leaders, and investors to bring this important project to fruition. He noted that the role of governments is to create the necessary conditions for companies to invest and grow through initiatives in security, infrastructure, economic development, and labor stability.


Bruse Li, the company’s general manager, announced the decision to establish operations and invest in Torreon; he explained that the company will invest more than US$17 million in the construction of a new plant, a project that will generate around 480 jobs over the next year and strengthen the electronics supply chain in the region.


The mayor of Torreon, Roman Alberto Cepeda Gonzalez, noted that the arrival of Click Technology is a sign of confidence in the city, thanks to the coordinated efforts of the community, business leaders, and the government to create conditions of security, certainty, and economic development.
