Guanajuato promotes energy projects

The Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise Garcia Muñoz Ledo, is promoting a development vision focused on strengthening the conditions that will allow the state to continue growing through infrastructure, innovation, certainty, and competitiveness, thereby establishing the state as one of the most attractive destinations for investment and industrial development in Mexico.

Currently, Guanajuato has an installed capacity of 3,392 megawatts to meet a peak demand of nearly 2,500 megawatts, placing the state in a position of energy stability that strengthens its industrial competitiveness and its capacity to attract new investment projects.

In this regard, Guanajuato has established itself as the 4th-ranked state in distributed generation, particularly in the installation of solar panels in homes, businesses, and industries, reflecting an active policy aimed at strengthening energy competitiveness and sustainability.

The Government of the People reaffirms its commitment to continue promoting strategic projects, infrastructure, and public policies that strengthen energy development, attract investment, and create opportunities for Guanajuato families.
