Logistik Industrial Park: Magna International marks 15 years

Magna International is commemorating the 15th anniversary of the groundbreaking for its plant in San Luis Potosi, a milestone that marked the beginning of a period of sustained growth, innovation, and collaboration with the state’s automotive industry.

With an investment of US$100 million, the Canadian company chose to establish itself in the Logistik Industrial Park, one of the region’s most significant industrial developments. The plant is located in the second phase of the development, in the municipality of Villa de Reyes, on a 41,800-square-meter site, which has enabled the company to operate with high standards of efficiency, connectivity, and competitiveness.

Magna is one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers and a strategic partner to major automakers in North America, Europe, and China. With a presence in 28 countries and nearly seven decades of experience, the company combines deep manufacturing expertise with advanced automotive systems that prioritize performance, safety, and quality.

Over the past 15 years, the plant has solidified its role as a key player in the region’s automotive supply chain, generating jobs, technological development, and opportunities for local suppliers.
