AMEXGAS addresses regularization of LP gas

The Mexican Association of Liquefied Gas Distributors and Related Companies (AMEXGAS) reaffirmed to energy authorities the commitment of companies in the sector to bring their operations into compliance.
The association also acknowledged the institutional openness and willingness to engage in dialogue demonstrated by the National Agency for Industrial Safety and Environmental Protection in the Hydrocarbons Sector (ASEA).
In a recent meeting with that authority, the scope and prospects of the National Regulation Program for Gasoline and Liquefied Petroleum Gas Facilities (PRONAGAS) were discussed, a mechanism that ensures the continuity of the regularization processes.
The Association reiterated its willingness to collaborate institutionally with the competent authorities in the development and implementation of viable, clear, and technically applicable mechanisms for the sector.
The Association emphasized the importance of maintaining permanent channels of communication and coordination between the authorities and the industry, viewing technical and institutional dialogue as an indispensable element for the orderly, safe, and sustainable development of the national energy sector.
