Queretaro prepares aerospace talent

Queretaro’s aerospace industry is strengthening its pool of specialized talent with the certification of 152 students from CONALEP Aeropuerto, as part of a partnership between TechOps Mexico, educational authorities, and the state government.
During the meeting, it was agreed to launch a technical training program focused on aircraft maintenance, a strategic activity for the operations of airlines, service centers, and aerospace companies based in Queretaro.
SEDESU Director Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero emphasized that the collaboration model between government, industry, and academia strengthens the triple-helix framework, considered key to meeting the talent needs driven by the growth of Mexico’s aerospace sector.
The certifications will allow students to immediately enter the job market, especially in areas related to aircraft maintenance, repair, and operations. The aerospace industry maintains high demand for specialized technical profiles due to the growth of manufacturing and aeronautical services operations in the Bajio region.
