Nissan Sentra Named One of the “10 Best Interiors” by WardsAuto

Thanks to its elegant, functional, and comfortable design, the interior of the new 2026 Nissan Sentra was included in the “10 Best Interiors & UX” list by the automotive publication WardsAuto.
The judges praised the sedan for “its impeccable design and high-quality feel at an attractive price.”
It is worth noting that this is the second consecutive time the Nissan Sentra has made the prestigious list with the debut of a new generation of the model, just as it did in 2020 with the launch of the previous version.
It is also the fourth time a Nissan model has received this recognition in the last seven years. The most recent was the Nissan Kicks in 2025, preceded by the Nissan Ariya in 2023.
“With the average price of a new vehicle exceeding $50,000, you shouldn’t expect much from a car that barely exceeds $30,000, but the Nissan Sentra defies expectations,” said Dave Zoia, one of the judges.

According to Zoia, the test vehicle’s sleek dark blue interior—featuring carbon-fiber-look accents and polished aluminum trim, a generously sized infotainment screen, and a digital instrument cluster—offers a premium look and feel.
It also came equipped with all the key tech features most buyers would want but wouldn’t expect at this price point, such as adaptive cruise control and a head-up display. In short: with the Sentra, you get a lot for relatively little.
The annual Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX competition recognizes the interiors and technologies of new or redesigned vehicles, evaluating them based on design and aesthetics, comfort, materials, finishes, connectivity and infotainment, displays and controls, and the content and value of driver-assistance systems.
In this regard, Chris Reed, senior vice president of Research and Development at Nissan Americas, said that this distinction “reinforces the meticulous approach we took with the new Sentra.”
“From design and materials to technology and usability, we focused on creating an intuitive, comfortable, and high-quality cabin, while still delivering the excellent value that Sentra buyers expect,” he reiterated.
