CLAUGTO supports local suppliers

At the Proveedor Automotriz event, Estefania de la Cruz, a representative of the Guanajuato Automotive Cluster (CLAUGTO), outlined the organization’s roadmap, which focuses on strengthening the state’s business ecosystem through targeted business matchmaking events and preparing the workforce for the imminent technological shift toward electromobility.

The arrival of new electric vehicle platforms and advanced technological components requires Guanajuato’s ecosystem to evolve so as not to fall behind in the value chain.

This industrial transformation managed by the cluster involves not only equipment and machinery but also a profound shift in the human capital and technical capabilities of the plants. Therefore, the organization is focusing its efforts on providing specialized training to certify companies in the technical requirements of the new electric components.

CLAUGTO does not operate in isolation in the Bajio region; active collaboration within the National Network of Automotive Clusters (REDCAM) allows them to share these successful methodologies with other states and, at the same time, understand the supply needs that Guanajuato can meet for other regions.
