FEMIA & AFAC aim to strengthen the aviation regulatory framework

As part of its commitment to strengthening the regulatory framework for the Mexican aerospace industry, the Mexican Aerospace Industry Federation (FEMIA) called on companies in the sector to participate in the process of analyzing and developing a joint proposal regarding Operational Circular CO SA-900.01/25 by submitting comments, recommendations, and technical justifications, which will be compiled and presented to the Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC).
As part of the working groups that FEMIA is organizing in coordination with AFAC, the goal is to develop a proposal that contributes to compliance with the circular through a practical, efficient approach aligned with the industry’s operational reality.
The initiative aims to incorporate recommendations from the private sector to build a regulatory framework that strengthens competitiveness, safety, and the development of aviation in Mexico.
FEMIA will compile all contributions to incorporate them into a proposal representing the private sector, which will be submitted to AFAC.
With this call for input, FEMIA reaffirms its commitment to representing the voice of the Mexican aerospace industry and to fostering ongoing collaboration with the authorities to strengthen the sector’s development through modern and efficient regulations.
