GAC hits 30 million vehicles produced in Mexico

In 2026, GAC Group reached a cumulative production of 30 million vehicles, reflecting the evolution of a long-term strategy based on innovation, technological development, smart manufacturing, and a global vision, reaffirming its position among China’s leading automotive groups.

More than just a number, this achievement represents the consolidation of research, engineering, manufacturing, and innovation—elements that have enabled the group to evolve with a long-term vision and strengthen its presence in international markets.

Behind this achievement lie five pillars that have defined GAC Group’s evolution over nearly three decades: research and innovation, technological and intellectual property development, the creation of an integrated industrial ecosystem, quality as the cornerstone of development, and a global vision.

Since the company’s arrival in Mexico, it has built a growth strategy based on a multi-energy portfolio comprising internal combustion, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and 100% electric vehicles; a network of more than 30 dealers nationwide; a Parts Center that enhances the availability of auto parts and after-sales service; and more than 10,000 vehicles sold in the Mexican market.

As part of its long-term vision, the company is also moving forward with the development of its first assembly plant in Mexico, scheduled to open in the second half of 2026. This project will strengthen its industrial presence in the country and reaffirm its commitment to the Mexican market under the ONE GAC 2.0 strategy.
