FEMIA aims to strengthen the aerospace industry.

The Mexican Aerospace Industry Federation seeks to provide the private sector with an analysis of Operational Circular CO SA-900.01/25, which establishes technical and administrative conditions under the Federal Civil Aviation Agency, the body responsible for issuing authorizations for ground transport and aircraft components. The goal is to establish a regulatory framework that is efficient, competitive, and aligned with the operational needs of the national aviation industry

The initiative began in the working groups that FEMIA oversees under its aviation authority, where a regulatory framework is being developed to strengthen operational safety, address current challenges, and contribute to improving competitiveness in the Mexican aerospace sector.

FEMIA emphasizes that interested companies should review the 12 sections that make up Operational Circular CO SA-900.01/25 if they wish to submit proposed amendments, accompanied by a technical or operational justification.

The institution itself will be responsible for compiling the contributions it has received in order to present a representative proposal to the AFAC, as part of the collaborative process between the authority and the industry to modernize aviation regulations in Mexico.

In this way, FEMIA seeks to reaffirm its commitment to representing the interests of the national aerospace sector and to promote unity and integration among authorities within a regulatory framework that fosters innovation, investment, and the industry’s development on an ongoing basis.

The organization comprises more than 120 companies with operations in 14 states across the country and serves as the leading representative body for the Mexican aerospace industry.
