T+H Automotive is investing approximately US$5 million in Tlajomulco
T+H Automotive has inaugurated the expansion of its plant in Tlajomulco, Jalisco, with an investment of approximately US$5 million, which aims to increase production capacity and create new jobs in the region.
This expansion is part of the company's growth strategy for the region, which would strengthen its presence within Jalisco's automotive cluster.
The mayor of Tlajomulco, Grardo Quirino Velázquez Chávez, has emphasized that the expansion would represent a new vote of confidence from the private sector in the municipality, which supports the region’s industrial development. Similarly, he confirmed that in recent years, the municipality has sought to grow through industrial and economic development, creating conditions to attract new investment and boost job creation.

Tlajomulco hopes to maintain a strong position among the leading players in Mexico’s auto parts industry, in addition to promoting new projects that will help strengthen the municipality’s competitiveness. The growth recorded in the Chapala corridor, as confirmed by the mayor of Tlajomulco, underscores the need to continue strengthening the infrastructure, mobility, and public services that support the area’s economic and industrial development.
Andreas Buchloh, vice president of T+H Automotive, explained that the plant expansion includes a new production line for intermediate tubes equipped with technology developed by the company on a global scale.
He also noted that this new line is the result of two years of joint development and engineering work between international specialists from the same group and Mexican technicians, successfully integrating advanced technology into the plant’s operations.
Finally, the president emphasized that the expansion is a sign of the company’s confidence in the municipality of Tlajomulco and its local talent—factors that have supported the decision to expand the company’s operations in the municipality.
