SAP Promotes AI in Mexico

The Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP) system has reported increased adoption of cloud solutions, artificial intelligence, and data management in Latin America and the Caribbean. Among these results, Mexico has stood out the most, with six projects implemented in the hospitality, manufacturing, education, healthcare, food, and pharmaceutical retail sectors.
According to industry sources, Mexican organizations have begun to move beyond the initial stages of digital transformation and are advancing toward more connected and automated operations capable of responding based on real-time data.
Paola Becerra, president of SAP Mexico, emphasizes that “When unified data and artificial intelligence are placed at the center of decision-making, the cloud ceases to be an IT project and becomes the operational foundation of the business. Mexico is paving its way toward the autonomous enterprise, one step at a time.”
Notable projects include: KTRC Real Estate Corporation has decided to partner with SAP and integrate automation, analytics, and artificial intelligence into its portfolio of Hard Rock Hotels and Nobu Hotels. Meanwhile, San Pablo Farmacia has completed the migration of 185 branches to SAP Cloud ERP Private. Grupo Pando will standardize its processes and commercial terms across its divisions. The Kuo Group will consolidate and manage business data on a single platform, which will help streamline decision-making; in addition to enabling the use of SAP Joule, Nadro will seek a more efficient way to meet the needs of the distribution of medications and healthcare products.
Among other companies that have decided to partner with SAP are Tecnológico de Monterrey and J.P. Morgan Payments Mexico. Technology is now a means of reducing risks and maintaining operations, as well as a tool for driving growth and capitalizing on new opportunities.
