The manufacturing industry is growing and gaining strength in Chihuahua.

The director of Index Chihuahua, Myrna de las Casa, has emphasized that Chihuahua’s manufacturing industry is maintaining a pace of growth that continues to generate new development opportunities for the state.

The Index representative emphasized that the continued growth in employment has come to reflect the stability, confidence, and dynamism prevailing in the manufacturing industry and the economy of the state capital.

“The industry continues to move forward; we have never stopped. At Index, we continue to drive and promote the sector’s growth, and our companies based in Chihuahua continue to move forward,” said the minister, adding that the city of Chihuahua has not experienced any business closures resulting from tariff policies or the uncertainty generated by the North American Free Trade Agreement negotiations.

It has also been noted that companies are showing great interest in participating in the next edition of the job fair, which demonstrates that the sector has an extraordinary demand for talent and continues to generate job opportunities.

While the challenges that may arise in the second half of the year were highlighted, Index Chihuahua’s representatives indicated a commitment to strengthening employment promotion and expanding training programs, which is seen as part of the manufacturing industry’s ongoing evolution.

De las Casa states, “We have to continue organizing events that train our people, prepare them, and make them even more competitive to face the challenges ahead. Index will continue to support companies in this regard.”

Finally, it is emphasized that the diversification of the industrial sector in Chihuahua represents one of the state’s main strengths, as it includes highly specialized sectors, notably aerospace, medical devices, automotive, and electronics, which provide a competitive advantage over other states in the country.
