The Pharr-Querétaro Corridor Opens Up New Opportunities for the Aerospace Industry

The Pharr-Querétaro strategic corridor has been expanded, opening up new opportunities to strengthen the supply chain logistics for Querétaro’s aerospace sector, given the importance of the Pharr International Bridge as a connection point between Mexico and the United States.

According to the Querétaro Aerocluster, the Pharr International Bridge handles nearly 6,000 crossings daily, of which approximately 80% are related to the industrial sector—a volume that underscores the importance of this infrastructure for the movement of goods and components linked to production chains.

Representatives from the Aerocluster participated in the presentation of the expansion of the strategic corridor, a project that aims to strengthen the logistics options available to companies in the region.

For the aerospace sector, increased capacity represents a major opportunity to develop supply chains, facilitate the movement of materials and components, and strengthen connections among companies based in Querétaro—one of the region’s key markets.

The Querétaro Aerocluster has emphasized that logistics infrastructure and strategic partnerships are key factors in boosting the region's competitiveness, particularly in industries that rely on international supply chains and require efficient options for transporting goods.

The corridor’s growth can also strengthen the options available to companies linked to the Querétaro aerospace industry, a sector that is highly integrated with North American supply chains and for which border connectivity is a key component of its logistics operations.

The agency emphasizes that it will continue to collaborate with stakeholders in the logistics ecosystem to strengthen industrial integration and expand the options that support the growth and efficiency of aerospace companies based in Querétaro.
