Martinrea Celebrates 25 Years in Querétaro

Marco del Prete Tercero, Secretary of Sustainable Development (SEDESU), attended the 25th-anniversary celebration of Martinrea Internacional, an automotive systems company dedicated to the design, development, and production of lightweight structures and propulsion systems.

During his remarks, the state official noted that companies such as Martinrea have found the talent, capabilities, suppliers, and conditions they need to continue growing. He also recognized the company’s employees, noting that they are the ones who make the company’s growth possible through their daily work, thereby helping to strengthen Querétaro’s competitiveness as an industrial state.

“For us, economic development makes sense when it builds capabilities that remain in the state, when it creates knowledge, and when it enables people to find better opportunities for personal growth. That is why this anniversary also holds special significance for Querétaro: a partnership that has yielded results for the company, but also for our state,” added the head of SEDESU.

For his part, Martinrea President Fred Di Tosto noted that the plants located in Querétaro maintain a strong reputation for their excellence in innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Meanwhile, Francisco Santos, manager of LPDC Plant 2, highlighted the commitment and hard work of the company’s employees who have helped make Martinrea what it is today: a company that follows best practices and has transformed the lives of many families in Querétaro.

Finally, Juan Pedro Santos, executive vice president of the Aluminum Division, recalled the early days, when small parts were manufactured in Querétaro; unlike today, the company now produces its most complex parts there.
