CTM will represent the Yokohama workers

Workers at the Yokohama company have chosen the CTM to represent them in their collective bargaining agreement. The CTM received a total of 59 votes in favor, compared to the 29 votes cast for the Mexican Workers’ Union League.

Voting took place at the company's facilities, where polling stations were set up so that employees could cast their ballots. The process was supervised by labor authority inspectors, who observed the voting process and the subsequent individual counting of ballots in the technical area.

The resolution of the proceedings encompasses the actions taken to comply with regulatory requirements regarding freedom of association and collective bargaining. The outcome certifies the current representative structure at the workplace within the framework of current labor law.

With this decision, the CTM will continue to administer the employment relationship and contractual status at the Yokohama facility. The organization concurred by acknowledging the validity of the calculations recorded in the official reports drawn up at the conclusion of the inspection.
