Queretaro triggers the incorporation of workers to the aerospace sector

QUERETARO — Direct jobs in the aerospace industry increased from around 800 in 2006 to the current record of 12,500; that is, an increase of 15.6 times over a period of approximately 13 years.
The rector of the Aeronautics University in QuerĂ©taro (UNAQ) and secretary of the QuerĂ©taro Aerocluster, Jorge GutiĂ©rrez de Velasco RodrĂguez, highlighted the importance that the aerospace industry has gained in the last decade, which has noticed regarding the demand for human capital and the arrival of companies to the entity.The rector of the Aeronautics University in QuerĂ©taro (UNAQ) and secretary of the QuerĂ©taro Aerocluster, Jorge GutiĂ©rrez de Velasco RodrĂguez, highlighted the importance that the aerospace industry has gained in the last decade, which has been noticed in terms of demand for human capital and the arrival of companies to the entity.
It is worth mentioning that UNAQ has been a key institution to meet the human capital demands of the aerospace industry both in the state and in other parts of the country; currently, it registers an enrollment of 1,500 and 300 graduates a year in Higher University Technician (TSU), engineering and postgraduate.
