AEM extends deadline for Mexican students to carry out stays at NASA
MEXICO — The Mexican Space Agency (AEM), extended the deadline for Mexican students to conduct immersive research stays at the Ames Research Center of NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), in autumn 2020.
In a statement, the decentralized agency of the Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT) reported that "February 25, 2020 is the new deadline for Mexican public and private higher education institutions in order to apply".
In this regard, Salvador Landeros Ayala, general director of the AEM, stressed that efforts are being redoubled so that young people have more opportunities to access specialized training, which allows them to integrate into strategic sectors of telecommunications, land observation and space exploration
