UNAM now offers an Aerospace bachelor degree
MEXICO — The University Council of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) approved the creation of an Aerospace degree, which will be offered at the Faculty of Engineering.
Said degree will be divided into 10 semesters focused on the development of aeronautical and spatial knowledge that will allow students to understand and apply the language and terms used within the aerospace industry, as well as to focus on the generation of technological and competitive projects with applications in the national and international industry.
UNAM’s Aerospace Engineering degree will be advised by 12 of its units, among which are the institutes of Geography and Applied Sciences and Technology, the University Space Program, the National Center for Aeronautical Technologies, the national laboratories of Space Weather, Earth Observation and Additive Manufacturing, 3D Digitization and Computed Tomography, among others.
