AAACESA carries out expansion in Mexico
MEXICO — AAACESA has revealed its expansion process in Mexico and plans to strengthen its physical and technological infrastructure for the attention of the pharmaceutical sector.
As part of the project, in a single step it increased its cold storage capacity by 60% with the inauguration of a refrigeration chamber of 1,896 cubic meters (m3) in which it invested US$583,000.
AAACESA is a company that a group of custom agents founded almost 25 years ago. His initial business bet was to offer services as a controlled warehouse for export and import air cargo, which is performed in the Customs Office of the International Airport of Mexico City (AICM).
Nowadays the pharmaceutical industry occupies 50% of its installed capacity; the growth of drug imports has prompted AACESA to detonate its expansion project, after its capacity was saturated. There must be noted that the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (Cofepris) requires separating the pharmaceutical load of what is perishable load.
“Our pharma cameras are isolated according to what Cofepris stipulates. It is an industry (the pharmaceutical industry) that comes with great push and our customers asked us for more capacity “, commented Gustavo Déctor, general director of AAACESA
