Aerospace Cluster will be established at the IberoInnovación Technology Park

LEON – The Ibero León through the IberoInnovación Technological Park signed a collaboration agreement with the Bajío Aerospace Cluster that will promote the development of projects in the sector.
The protocolary ceremony was headed by Felipe Espinosa Torres, rector of the University and Felipe Rafael Briones Soto, director of the Aerospace Cluster of Bajío A.C.
Through this alliance, a collaboration with more than 25 companies has been formalized; they offer products and services of high added value from Guanajuato all over the world, said Juan Flores Pelcastre, director of the Technological Park.
Likewise, this alliance will strengthen academic work and has the important task of linking students and teachers to technological development projects with the business sector.
Some of the projects that are developed in this institution oriented to the aeronautical industry, are in connection with Grober León and the Eurecat Technological Center, with whom they carry out research on materials, mainly in pultrusion processes.
Mr. Felipe Rafael Briones Soto, expressed his excitement for this collaboration with the Ibero "it is a real privilege to be in this house of studies with global recognition, today we are gathered to celebrate this collaboration agreement that really has a great impact, that will maximize the effort of the academy, the government and the industry,” he said.
