Aguascalientes projects sales of US$11 million

The participation of seven companies from Aguascalientes in the LATAM Trade Show opened up new business opportunities in international markets, with projected sales of US$11 million by the end of 2026. The event brought together companies and buyers from strategic sectors such as food, beverages, healthcare, advanced technology, logistics, and aerospace.
As a result of their presence at the event, the companies established 69 business connections and held 42 business meetings, figures that reflect new markets’ interest in the products and services developed in the state. These results strengthen the internationalization strategy driven by the local business sector.
The head of the Secretariat of Economic Development, Science, and Technology (SEDECYT), Esau Garza de Vega, highlighted that the participating companies demonstrated a high level of competitiveness and the ability to integrate into global value chains. He noted that these opportunities allow for the creation of new growth opportunities and the expansion of Aguascalientes’ presence abroad.
The work agenda also included meetings with international institutions such as NASA and the University of Central Florida, with the aim of exploring cooperation schemes in specialized training, academic exchanges, and intensive programs focused on industrial engineering and advanced technologies.
