AMPIP is strengthening its monitoring system for supplier gaps
The Mexican Association of Private Industrial Parks (AMPIP) has launched its AMPIP Industrial Radar, which aims to detect gaps in the supply chain, thereby identifying target companies and guiding investment promotion efforts.
The Mexican Association of Private Industrial Parks has observed changes in the industrial landscape, which present an opportunity to strengthen existing production bases, identify missing links, and attract companies capable of filling those gaps, thereby creating a strategic roadmap for growth through the “Dialogues on the Future of Industry”—an initiative the association maintains to facilitate direct dialogue with chambers of commerce and associations representing various productive sectors in Mexico, and thereby acknowledge the evolution that industries in Mexico are undergoing. Amid these changes, there are gaps in their supply chains and certain conditions that industrial parks must provide to support their growth.
For this reason, AMPIP has created the “AMPIP Industrial Radar,” an exclusive digital tool for members that organizes and presents sector-specific analyses on supplier opportunities, value chain gaps, and target companies. In this way, the Association hopes to transform sector-specific knowledge into actionable intelligence for its members, thereby facilitating the identification of opportunities, target companies, and future infrastructure requirements.
The tool’s objective is to transform sectoral analysis to support promotion. The strategy will focus on linking market intelligence, investment promotion, and industrial infrastructure. Thus, AMPIP will be able to work with chambers of commerce and specialized agencies to identify opportunities—whether with its members to assess availability and build capacity, or with authorities and promotion agencies to present well-defined projects with a higher probability of success.
