AT&T invests US$12 million in Nuevo Leon

SAN NICOLAZ DE LOS GARZA — With an investment of US$12 million, the AT&T company inaugurated an electromechanical infrastructure center called MSO (Mobile Switching Office) in the municipality of San Nicolás de los Garza with coverage to the northern region of the country (Nuevo León, Coahuila, Durango, Tamaulipas and Chihuahua)

During the opening event, Gustavo Gómez Caligaris, vice president and general director of the northern region of AT&T, explained that this center has the latest technology that supports AT&T services in this area.

For his part, Lorenzo Aguilar, minister of Foreign Investment of Nuevo Leon, added: “Digital transformation is such an important factor in Nuevo León and our purpose is to support the industry and society to adopt, accelerate and develop technology. That is why we support initiatives such as those that AT&T has brought to our state. ”
