MEXICO - Currently Audi Mexico is committed to the environment and the assembly company follows global objectives on the way to building a sustainable future.

Through the Dual Apprenticeship Program and in accordance with Objective 4 of the 2030 Agenda promoted by the United Nations, focused on quality education, Audi México currently promotes educational opportunities for young people in the region through an inclusive and equitable way.

Thanks to the inauguration of the Center of Specialization, three generations have graduated to date; students meet the technical skills necessary to access employment and be part of Audi Mexico.

Another objective of the 2030 Agenda focuses on guaranteeing the availability of water and its sustainable management for its general sanitation, which is why Audi México collects 100% of the wastewater it produces in its operation; water is treated and finally reused in production processes. This is how comprehensive management, exhaustive care and efficient use are guaranteed.

“Sustainability is fundamental within the Audi Mexico strategy. Acting consistently sustainably in our operations guarantees us long-term success, ”said Tarek Mashhour, CEO of Audi Mexico.

“We work permanently on projects that consider social and environmental aspects under a corporate governance that allows us to be more sustainable in the production of our Audi Q5. At Audi Mexico we know that the future is an attitude, and sustainability is the mobility of the future, ”he added.

Likewise, and in alignment with Objective number 7 of the 2030 Agenda, the German automaker covers 100% of its electrical requirement with energy from renewable sources that are generated in a photovoltaic park located in northern Mexico.
