According to the consulting firm Euromonitor, the beer market is still growing and attracting investment for Mexico, as it has reached a value of US$20.33 million and has recorded growth rates of 7.0% to 8.0% in recent years, thanks to the work that Constellation Brands and Heineken have been carrying out upon their arrival in Mexico. Constellation Brands is the owner of Grupo Modelo, while Heineken owns Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma, and both brewers have maintained a constant competition to be the sales leaders in Mexico and around the world.
