BMW and Mercedes Benz, dominating the premium market

Mercedes Benz and BMW are the two brands dominating the premium car market in Mexico, as their sales represented 53% of the total of commercialized units of this segment during the first nine months of 2017, above the 46% record of the same period last year. The brand MINI, which is also part of BMW Group, presented an increase of 3.3% in a matching period, which adds up to the power of this company, led by Alexander Wehr. In the meantime, Mercedes Benz has sold 12,373 vehicles over the first nine months this year that is 22% above the record for the same period in 2016.
