CESVI Mexico and TEC de Monterrey will collaborate to boost the automotive sector

CESVI Mexico and the Tecnológico de Monterrey are collaborating through applied research, seeking to develop solutions to the challenges facing the automotive and mobility industries through projects tailored to the sector’s needs.

The first joint project is currently underway in collaboration with the Mobility Intelligence Lab at Tecnológico de Monterrey, with the goal of investigating challenges related to mobility and automotive technology. CESVI Mexico will contribute its technical expertise and understanding of industry needs, while Tecnológico de Monterrey will provide academic talent and capabilities in applied research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

The collaboration aims to engage researchers, faculty, and students in addressing challenges in the automotive sector and developing viable solutions with the potential for commercial application.

For this collaboration to succeed, CESVI Mexico must maintain a physical presence for three years at EXPEDITION FEMSA, within the Monterrey Innovation District, under a corporate residency model, with CESVI making an annual contribution of US$63,000.

In this way, CESVI will be able to establish a direct link between the institution specializing in the automotive sector and the academic and technological ecosystem of Tecnológico de Monterrey, in addition to having easy access to the technology validation infrastructure.

Under the agreement, CESVI Mexico and Tecnológico de Monterrey are establishing a three-year collaboration platform to promote applied research and innovation, with projects focused on the needs of mobility and the automotive industry.
