CLAUTMET strengthens its automotive supply chain

The Metropolitan Automotive Cluster (CLAUTMET) has established itself as a strategic player in the development of the automotive industry in central Mexico.
During Proveedor Automotriz, Griselda Galindo, CLAUTMET’s director of operations, outlined the cluster’s vision to strengthen ties among its member companies, promoting both the supply chain and talent development, as well as collaboration with various sectors.
Under the presidency of Elisa Crespo, CLAUTMET’s strategy is based on the triple helix model, which promotes collaboration between academia, government, and the private sector.
The cluster maintains a steady offering of specialized courses aimed at raising the manufacturing standards, productivity, and efficiency of its member companies; and through direct links with educational institutions, the cluster brings companies’ technological needs into the classroom and coordinates efforts with foreign corporations and government agencies.
In light of the challenges associated with reshoring, supply chains, and the growing demand for regional integration, CLAUTMET’s participation in business meetings reinforces the importance of collaborative work within REDCAM.
As part of its priority projects for 2026, the organization is preparing the twelfth edition of the BAM (Business Automotive Meeting), considered the leading automotive business event promoted by the cluster.
