Coahuila leads business perception on investment climate: Coparmex

According to the #ÁnimoParaInvertir indicator of the Confederación Patronal de la República Mexicana (Coparmex), Coahuila tops the list of states with the highest percentage of businessmen who believe it is a good time to invest. 64.4% of the members consulted in the state responded positively, a figure that is above the national average of 38.3%.
Puebla (57.4%), Quintana Roo (43.8%), Sonora (43.1%) and Mexico City (42.1%) were also among the states with the best perceptions regarding the investment environment.
This Coparmex indicator measures the percentage of affiliated businessmen who perceive a better investment climate compared to the previous year in their respective states.
In addition, Coahuila obtained 75% compliance in the #MarcajeAMiGobierno indicator, which evaluates the degree to which state governments comply with the commitments made during their campaigns, according to business perceptions.
In this context, Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas highlighted the importance of coordination between the different levels of government to maintain conditions that favor investment. He affirmed that work will continue in areas such as security and infrastructure to strengthen the arrival of new investments.
State authorities have indicated that the promotion of Coahuila as a destination for national and foreign investment is constant, with the objective of generating jobs and maintaining regional competitiveness.
