CONCAMIN Strengthens Manufacturing, Logistics, and Trade
The Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States (CONCAMIN) held its regular meeting of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors in Cancún, Quintana Roo, with the participation of business representatives from various regions of the country. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the progress made by the working committees and to address issues related to Mexico’s competitiveness and industrial development.
The meeting held in October 2026 was led by Alejandro Malagón Barragán, CONCAMIN’s national president, with the participation of Eduardo A. Garza Robles, the Confederation’s representative in Tamaulipas, appointed by the National Executive Board.
One of the key points of the meeting was the presentation of reports by the Working Committees of CONCAMIN Nacional, during which business representatives were briefed on the Confederation’s progress in its activities and received updates on issues of interest to Mexican industry.
Similarly, the session provided a forum for dialogue among industry leaders from different states, with the aim of sharing experiences, learning about regional initiatives, and reviewing issues that affect the country’s economic activity.
The CONCAMIN meeting in Cancún reaffirmed the importance of regional representation in decision-making within the industrial sector. The follow-up to the working committees and dialogue among business leaders helped maintain a common agenda on issues that contribute to competitiveness, supply chains, and the development of national industry.
