Cubbo Invests US$1 Million in a New Distribution Center.

Cubbo, the Latin American fulfillment technology and logistics company, has launched a new distribution center in Tultepec, State of Mexico, with an investment of US$1 million, as part of its plan to expand its logistics capacity for e-commerce and retail operations in Mexico.

The facility covers an area of 8,850 m², has the capacity to manage 53,000 inventory SKUs, and can process up to 450,000 orders per month. It also offers fulfillment, B2B, DTC, and cross-docking services, designed to facilitate connections between brands and the region’s leading retailers.

The investment is a response to the growth in sales volumes and the diversification of sales channels, factors that have increased the need for logistics operations that are faster, more flexible, and scalable.

Josu Gurtubay, co-founder and COO of Cubbo, has emphasized that logistics has become one of the strategic factors in brand competition, as responsiveness and order tracking have had a direct impact on the consumer experience.

The center also incorporates processes designed to improve order traceability, from order receipt and fulfillment to product delivery at retail chains' distribution centers. In this way, the company hopes to reduce operational incidents and improve the monitoring of goods.

The infrastructure will enable the capacity to manage large volumes of inventory and orders. The company operates under a comprehensive model, directly managing its distribution centers and using its own technological infrastructure, personnel, systems, and equipment to manage its clients' operations.

The new infrastructure in the State of Mexico will strengthen operational capacity to support growth in e-commerce and retail. This center will provide an alternative for expanding storage and distribution capacity, diversifying sales channels, and offering competitive delivery times—all without having to invest capital in building a proprietary logistics network.
