DAF arrives in Mexico

VERACRUZ - Paccar Mexico officially launched the DAF brand in our country, in conjunction with its distributor Kenworth del Este. The first 78 units left the Port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands and arrived this week at the Port of Veracruz to begin marketing.

The assembly plant will have the XF, CF and XB models available, of which it expects to place around 600-700 units this year. Although its expectations are to become the leader in the flatbed truck segment in a few years.

"Today is a very special day that will mark the welcome to Mexico of the best truck in Europe. Here, in the heroic Port of Veracruz, the main gateway for products to Mexico," Luis Reyes, Commercial Director of PACCAR Mexico, said.

Reyes added that Paccar's leadership has no limits and will continue to offer the best range of products and services that Mexican carriers require for an efficient and productive operation.

"For that reason, we are witnessing the arrival of a sister brand of Kenworth, but with the same brand DNA, a leader in Europe thanks to its design and performance," Reyes said.

Juan Leonardo Fiorentini, Commercial Director of Paccar Mexico, pointed out that DAF is one of Europe's leading truck manufacturers and has been a leader in truck technology for more than 70 years.
