MEXICO – Emirates airline will restart its route between Dubai and Mexico City, via Barcelona, ​​with four weekly flights starting July 2, 2021.

The Dubai-Barcelona-Mexico route will be operated with a Boeing 777-200LR aircraft, with a two-class configuration, offering 38 Business seats in a 2-2-2 configuration and 264 Economy seats.

Flight EK255 will take off from Dubai at 3:25 AM and arrive in Barcelona at 8:35 AM. Later, it will leave the Spanish city at 10:50 a.m. and land in Mexico City at 4:05 p.m.

For its part, the return flight, EK256, will leave Mexico at 7:40 p.m., arriving in Barcelona at 1:45 p.m. the next day; It will take off again at 3:30 p.m. to land in Dubai at 12:15 a.m. the next day.

Emirates suspended its route to Mexico just at the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic, since March 20 of last year. At the same time, the airline stopped operating a large part of its flights due to the increase in cases worldwide.

However, since July, the airline restarted operations and currently Dubai is one of the most popular destinations worldwide, as the city is open to both business travelers and leisure visitors, the airline said in a statement. .
