Energia Real reduced CO2 emissions by 76%

Energia Real, a company specializing in comprehensive energy solutions, reduced 45,668 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent in 2025, representing a 76% increase over the 25,963 metric tons recorded the previous year, according to its 2025 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report.
As part of its commitment to sustainability, the company strengthened its capabilities by obtaining ISO 14001 certification, which establishes international standards for environmental management.
Similarly, Energia Real continued to support Rafiqui, the nonprofit organization founded by the company to promote solar panel recycling and the economy in Mexico, whose goal is the responsible management of photovoltaic waste at the end of its useful life.
In 2025, it refined its methodology for quantifying waste, identifying its source, and making responsible decisions regarding its disposal. In total, it recorded 14.7 metric tons of waste, of which 9.9 metric tons were diverted from final disposal through recycling and reuse.
During 2025, the company increased its donation budget per megawatt sold by 67% and made donations of solar infrastructure totaling 291 kW, directly benefiting more than 3,500 people since the donations began in 2023.
The company also strengthened its governance practices through risk management, regulatory compliance, and corporate transparency mechanisms. As a result, it reported zero cases of corruption in 2025 and upheld its accountability commitments under international standards such as GRI, the GHG Protocol, BCorp Certification, and the principles of the United Nations Global Compact.
