FedEx Express carries out expansion in Cancun

CANCUN – The 4,600 square meter facility has six platforms, two access ramps and the capacity to handle 54 routes. In addition, the FedEx Shipping Center will provide an exceptional experience to the city's customers. This new station enjoys a strategic location in the Cancun area.
"More than 29 years of experience in Mexico allow us to adapt to the needs of each local market," said Jorge L. Torres, president of FedEx Express in Mexico. "Today, e-commerce is an important part of the equation, we will continue to strengthen our infrastructure to provide customers with better delivery times and greater connectivity for all their shipping needs."
In terms of infrastructure, Quintana Roo has nine ports, three international airports and two national airports.
FedEx Express Mexico and the government of the state of Quintana Roo signed a collaboration agreement to provide entrepreneurs access to consulting services and preferential rates for domestic and international shipments.
The company has similar agreements with the states of Chiapas, Guanajuato, Michoacán, San Luis PotosĂ, Oaxaca, Puebla and Zacatecas.
